		<description>b, yes I agree. nevertheless, it has to be user-friendly for us as well. :) though, my point is that browsers make of a pretty good platform for writing all kinds of software, even security related ones.</description>

		<description>I agree with you...there are a couple command line tools that has been converted to web browser interfaces(metasploit framework)..but by doing this it makes the tool to be easily used by any one..thus increasing the risk of the tool being used by scrip kidded to damaged computers systems...so in a way, security tools having web interfaces has got its advantage and disadvantages</description>

		<description>chrisbdaemon, I am thinking of a hybrid model. here is an example: if wireshark was written to accommodate the Mozilla platform, it would have been alot easer to extend it with bookmarklets and simply scripts from Technika.</description>
