		<description>@meathive: Off course you're limited when using the browser as a platform. But with some features of the img-tag, Ajax calls, js-hacks and some flash put togetter, there are indeed some handy things you can do.

		<description>Relying solely on the jQuery AJAX capabilities will quickly fail you. You cannot make cross-domain $.ajax calls and expect them to work (presumably only in IE8).

I use jQuery for all of my Web projects as of late; it does not let me down.</description>
