Security 
 Select this option if you are accessing TARGET COMPANY's Outlook Web Access site from any computer where you are not the sole user of the system. Sessions from public computers are limited to 15 minutes of inactivity before automatic logout occurs.
 Select this option if you are the only person who uses this computer.
 Warning: By selecting the Private computer option you acknowledge that the computer complies with TARGET COMPANY's security policies. If in doubt about whether you can safely select Private computer, please select the Public computer option as it provides greater security protections to both TARGET COMPANY and your personal mailbox.
 

To protect your account from unauthorized access, Outlook Web Access (OWA) automatically closes its connection to your mailbox after a period of inactivity (see the 'what's this?' link next to Security above for more information). Please Note: reading an email, composing an email, and other actions that do not actively interact with your mailbox are not activity from the perspecitve of the server and the inactivity timer will be counting down during that time. However, opening an email to read, selecting to compose a new email, and other actions that communciate with your mailbox do reset the activity timer. If your session ends, refresh your browser, and then log on again.
